Pain Free Joints

The North American lifestyle predisposes us to a number of significant postural imbalances.

We spend most of our day in a seated position yet we never squat deeply with our heels on the ground or bring our knees all the way up to our chest. We wear restrictive shoes with elevated heels that pitch us forward onto our toes, create an anterior pelvic tilt, increase stress on our knees and tighten our lower backs. The most daily physical activity most of us get is walking to our cars or the elevator and most of the workouts seen in gyms neglect woefully neglect biomechanics.

Over time, this leads to weak, unstable joints at the knees and lumbar spine and in a huge number of people, a chronically tight, aching back.

Craig spent six years in a Naval Special Operations Force known as SWCC. This job entailed transiting at high speeds in small jet boats through open oceans at night while wearing heavy body armor, small weapons and night vision goggles. The boats could sustain impacts as high as 20 G's with each hit on a wave – literally enough force to break bones.

It was also at this time that Craig was developing principles and methods for physical training programs for himself and the men he worked with. These programs produced strength, stamina and fat loss but these things were meaningless if they couldn't also make the men performing them resilient under the extreme stresses they faced in their jobs.

This entailed an in depth understanding of biomechanics and a real world knowledge of what makes joints like the lumbar spine strong, stable and resistant to high levels of stress.

These methods were used successfully among the men of U.S. Special Operations and they're still being used now to rehab and strengthen men and women around the country.

We've helped people who had been struggling for years with pain from everything from shattered shoulder blades to hip replacements to knee surgeries, broken ankles and back surgeries and now they're enjoying fully functional, pain free lives. You can too.
