Here’s what Jan had to say about Barefoot:
“I came to Barefoot Fitness a little more than two years ago. I had always
been athletic and toned and active enough that I never worried about my
weight. Then, in my early 40’s I was plagued with several medical issues, one was
a tumor on my thyroid which resulted in a 40 pound weight gain.
I struggled to lose the weight after surgery and felt depressed and tired all the time.
I finally realized I couldn’t do it on my own and luckily discovered
Barefoot Fitness.
From day one I felt welcome and have had awesome support
throughout my journey. The workouts are perfect for me because they are
balanced and focused. I love that I can make the workout harder or easier
to fit the way I am feeling each day.
Beyond the great physical training, I have learned so much about nutrition and balancing what I eat.
The instructors have truly been a major part of my success. I feel that my body
is in the best, most balanced condition of my life. I am proud to have lost
48 pounds, but more importantly, I am strong and happy and have a renewed
confidence.”
