We moved into our current facility in 2017, and have been refining our space and our equipment ever since.
We have two large padded mat surfaces surrounded by artificial turf, with enough space that you won’t feel crowded. Our facility has both heating and air conditioning for year-round exercise “comfort.” During the summer months we also utilize the street in front of our building for optional “outside” exercises.
There is a water fountain with a water bottle filling station to keep you hydrated, three bathrooms, and three showers available if you need to get to work right after your workout. Towels are also available if you’d rather not provide your own.
Equipment
Our primary training tool of choice at Barefoot Fitness is the kettlebell. Kettlebells are a simple tool that have many benefits including core strength, grip strength, posture, cardio, range of motion, and more.
We have a huge selection of kettlebells ranging from just a few pounds to bells that weigh in at 106 pounds, and everything in between. Wherever you are in your fitness journey we can accommodate you, from a beginner who has never touched a weight to experienced athletes who have been exercising for years.
We also integrate other equipment into our workouts from time to time, including barbells, pull-up bars, rings, battle ropes, slam balls, hip sleds (prowlers), old tires, dumbbells, rowing machines, Airdynes, a SkiErg, and more.
